Personal Boot Camp Training
Hi,
A group of friends who share concerns about TSHTF are interested in boot-camp type training programs, especially with an emphasis on fitness, only without joining the military. Does anyone know of any resources available? Training manuals, websites, survival camps, etc? Thanks! |

learn how to run a 5 minute mile, or a 12 minute 1.5(and thats being nice!)
push ups in the morning, sit ups in the evening. Eat nurtious food in moderation. Get basic marksmanship training at a gun range, start with a .22 if needed =boot camp. Id be happy to come yell at you while you do it, if you want to go for the realism factor. Nothing like paris island motivation :) But really, look into "survival" training around you, there are tons of threads on here about it already that i've read, do a search for survivial training and a bunch should pop up. Other than that, the above is about all you need to do. What speficaly are you look for though? Fitness? Marksmanship? or surviving the apocolypse? Thats a big difference from "boot camp" |

Wear basic uniforms, learn to carry your buddies around on your back across fields. Gets you fit fast and a practical skill...
You don't need lots of exercise equipment. Study your diets and optimise them for healthy eating. |

Fitness: Play a sport with your buddies. Join the local rugby or soccer team. If you want to do individual sports instead, you can participate in a combat sport, like wrestling, boxing, kickboxing, judo, or BJJ. You'll have fun, get fit, and learn to fight all at the same time. |
